My name is Tiki Hall Bates and I am the owner of Community Cremation and have been licensed in Florida since 1995. I have 25 years of professional experience in providing cremation services. I have worked with large family funeral homes like Moss Feaster Funeral Homes and corporate owned companies like National Cremation Society, Neptune Society, and Dignity Memorial. It is my business goal to provide cremation services without the traditional funeral home experience or expense.
My direct cremation license was obtained in 1995 after completing the Funeral Service Program at St. Petersburg College in Clearwater, FL and my Funeral Director license from the same college in 2018. I have a dual Bachelor degree in Business and Marketing from the University of South Florida and a Masters degree in Business from LeTourneau University in Texas. All were earned with honors.
My business goal is to create a positive experience with the survivors while making necessary arrangements. Survivors have a choice to have a consultation in the comfort of their own home, our office, or another location that is convenient for them. I make sure our arrangement process is simple and personal, and I recognize that a complete and affordable arrangement is desired.
Our cremation services are more affordable than traditional funeral home services. We provide the same cremation service without the expenses incurred in overhead costs such as large buildings and staff, casket inventory, automobiles used for the funeral service, etc.
Even with our low cost cremation our services are more personal and provide a higher degree of dignity and respect for you, your loved one, and family. Most of our family meetings are done in your home where you feel more comfortable and the experience is more intimate. There are no sales tactics and we talk about what you might need that we can provide. We are available anytime and will assist you after hours, on holidays, and weekends for no extra charge.
We support organizations and people who work directly with the community and are knowledgeable in their field. When you are looking for Hospice locations, a florist, attorney, insurance, assistance with finances or home care, selling or moving from your home, etc. please ask us and we will be glad to refer a specialist in that field.
It is important to give back to the community and devote time to organizations that directly touch our community. I understand how important it is to devote community time outside of our daily lives and get involved where and when we can.
Whether it is a caring hand of those dedicated to Hospice, the devotion of a Red Cross volunteer, or the ones who care for our furry friends, Community Cremation is proud to give back to the community and is determined to actively contribute to non-profit organizations.
